Dr. Dani Bernard - Veterinarian
I cannot think of a time that animals were not a love and passion of mine, I grew up taking care of a variety of animals from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles.
I enjoy and love working with all types of animals, not just dogs and cats. My passion extends to the medicine and surgery of exotic mammals, birds, and especially reptiles. During my career, I have worked on anything from cheetahs and giraffes to alligators and eagles. I’m an active member of the Association of Avian Veterinarians, the Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians, and the Association of Reptilian and Amphibian Veterinarians.
Apart from my passion for exotic animals, I also enjoy internal medicine and emergency medicine of companion animals and I’m Fear-Free certified and R.E.C.O.V.E.R. certified.
When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my four-legged child Roscoe (an 80 lbs Am. Staff). I also enjoy hiking, traveling, baking, bible study, sketching, and painting in watercolor.
